One-Liner Wednesday – Is Time Ever Wasted?

There are mountainous, arduous days, up which one takes an infinite time to climb, and downward-sloping days, which one can descend at full tilt, singing as one goes.

  1. I think the idea of wasting time is in the viewpoint of either the “doer/waster” vs. the “viewer” who is being critical. My dad complained I was wasting time doing something I liked rather than something he wanted done. If he wasn’t getting his way, what anyone else was enjoying was a waste.

As an adult, I still get involved in projects that could be called a waste, but if it’s enjoyable I do it. Since I’m retired, whatever I should do but don’t is not going away…time is not of the essence. 😁

    • So true! Time is like money you’ve earned – it’s all yours to spend or save as you want😁 (This analogy falls a bit flat when you factor in taxes and bills etc – but you get the general gist of my rambling!)
